World

“World” or “World is Over” is an installation created from street posters collected in the neighborhood of Exarchia, Athens.
These fragments, bearing antifascist slogans and social and political messages, form a layered collage that echoes the streets’ collective voice.
From a distance, the piece resembles the ruins of a fragmented city; up close, it becomes a psychogeographic map of Exarchia, a reflection on how public space and urban noise shape our consciousness and daily life.
Inspired by Guy Debord’s The Naked City (1955), the work reassembles the visual residue of protest, resistance, and presence into a tactile reconstruction of the city itself.
